8th Grade History

This course covers American History from pre European exploration to the Civil War.  The curriculum is divided into:

Colonialism

Revolution

Expansionism

Civil War

Class content encompasses the 8th grade Colorado Model Content Standards for the Social Studies that include:

Economics

Civics

Exploration occurs through class activities and discussion, online and library research, group projects, and individual work.
