Audio Broadcasting

During the course of this module, the student will be assessed on key concepts and activities.  The student will be asked to:  (1) Explain the changes he or she made in the stories or information to prepare the story for broadcast, (2) Explain the difference between news and commentary.

Audio Broadcasting Learning Targets:

• Recognize the different types of radio stations and formats as well as understand how radio stations use technology to gather new information.
• Write and produce a commercial.
• Use a digital audio editing software program to record and apply effects to a prewritten commercial.
