Forensic Science

During the course of this module, the student will be assessed on key concepts and activities. The student will be asked to: (1) Define forensic science, explain the Locard Exchange Principle, (2) Explain the relationship between DNA, genes, and chromosomes, (3) Define deductive and inductive reasoning.

Forensic Science Learning Targets:

Produce a scaled drawing of a crime scene.
Collect and analyze fingerprint evidence.
Complete a DNA extraction
Collect and analyze hair and fiber evidence.
Analyze a document using handwriting analysis and chromatography.
