Friday, September 14, 2018 – TODAY IS “A” DAY

We have a special lady that has always wanted to read the morning announcements.  As this is her last day at Westlake after 12 years here...sniff sniff... we would

love to give her this opportunity.  See if you can figure out who this is....She is there for you when you need a bandaid.  Kids like to give her a hard time as she still uses

a flip phone and does not text...and she is always willing to go above and beyond to make your day.  She has worked for Westlake for 12 years but before that, she worked

at the Fire Department for 20 years.  She has even been a flight attendant. Westlake has truly been fortunate to have such a wonderful person in our building.

Without further ado we would like to thank Ms. Cheryl Young-Beumer for sharing all her love and skills with us at Westlake.  You will certainly be missed. Best of luck in your retirement. Enjoy but please come back and see us.

We would like to clarify one item regarding the Check Drive.  All students donating at ANY amount will receive their name on a Paper Wolverine that will be posted in the front foyer of the school.  PTO is gathering names of students that have already donated and are quickly adding names to the Wolverines. Come check out the foyer as names will go up soon.  Remember every dollar counts for us to reach our goal.
