Mr. Terrell Price - Principal Mr. Price is in his 23rd year in education, and his third year serving as Principal at Westlake. Prior to being named Principal, he served as Assistant Principal for Westlake for a year and eight years at Northglenn High School. Before coming to Adams 12 Five Star Schools, Mr. Price served as Principal and Athletic Director for eight years in Byers, Colorado. Mr. Price also taught high school and middle school Social Studies. Mr. Price has a Bachelor's Degree in History from Colorado State University and Master's Degree in Education Administration and Supervision. On a personal note when Mr. Price is not at Westlake, you can find him at a sporting or 4H event proudly watching any one of his three children competing.
Ms. Melissa Overboe - Assistant Principal, 6th grade Administrator Ms. Overboe is in her 22nd year in education, and her fourth year here at Westlake. Prior to Westlake, she served as an Assistant Principal in Boulder Valley Schools for five years. She has previously worked in Adams 12 Five Star Schools as Dean of Students, a District Behavior Specialist, and teacher. Ms. Overboe has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Central College in Iowa, a Teacher Certification from Wayne State College in Nebraska, and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver. On a personal note - Ms. Overboe grew up in the midwest and moved to Colorado in 2004. She LOVES cheering on the Rockies, listening to live music, and traveling with her husband and kids.
Ms. Robin Skolnick - Assistant Principal, 8th grade Administrator Ms. Skolnick is in her 24th year in education, and her fifth year here at Westlake. Prior to Westlake, she served as Assistant Principal for 14 years at the Adams 12 Alternative Education Campus (Vantage Point High School, Crossroads Middle School and Vista View Expulsion Program). She also served as Interim Assistant Principal, Dean of Students and taught Social Studies at Shaw Heights Middle School before coming to Adams 12 Five Star Schools in 2007. Ms. Skolnick has a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Northern Colorado - Go Bears! On a personal note - she grew up in Minnesota before coming out to Colorado for college. She was on the UNC Swimming & Diving Team for four years. She loves movies, golfing, watching her three kids in their sports, and traveling. Ms. Skolnick works directly with the 8th grade students.
Ms. Anne Carpenter- Dean of Students, Athletic Director, 7th grade Administrator Ms. Carpenter is in her 18th year in education, and her first year here at Westlake. She's excited to be a Wolverine after having had four children attend WLMS, and another child join this year! Prior to Westlake, she served as a K8 Dean at Prospect Ridge Academy, a grades 3-12 technology teacher in St Vrain Valley Schools (including teaching AP Computer Science), a 1st grade teacher at the American School of Doha in Qatar, and a 2nd grade teacher at the Singapore American School in Singapore. She has a Masters in Leadership for Educational Organizations from the University of Colorado in Denver. A Masters in Elementary Education from the College of New Jersey. And a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Sociology, and Studio-Art from the University of Denver where she was on the DU Dance Team. When she's not at school you'll find Ms. Carpenter spending time with her husband and her six children. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, cheering for the Nuggets, and relaxing.
