I have been lucky to call Westlake my home for the past four years now. I grew up going to school in Adams 12 and am excited to be teaching in the district.
I am a graduate from the University of Northern Colorado where I received my BS in Sports and Exercise Science with minors in Special Education and Psychology. I then pursued and completed my Masters in Special Education from Metropolitan State University. This will be my 5th year teaching at Westlake, and my first year teaching 6th grade science!
I have always had a passion for learning and teaching and am excited to be pursing that here at Westlake. My household consists of my wonderful husband Kendall and two very energetic rescue dogs named Hank and Teddy. In my spare time, I enjoy getting outside to camp, hike, and kayak as well as various arts and crafts like sewing and knitting.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege to teach your child this year. It is a team effort and I want to thank you in advance for all the hard work and support you give; I could not do this job without you.
